Too Much For One Heart

Outside there is a war,
In here the night is still.
The jasmine buds have bloomed,
The way the jasmine will.

And i have given birth to a speckle of dust,
To a sparkle of light
To a small hint of life.

Frail as a flower in the morning
Is this tiny work of art
When i see his face before me
This is too much for one heart

Here like a seedling in the garden
Is a world about to start
How i need you here to share it
This is too much for one heart

Yours, half of all of this is yours
And i swear it on the moon

Soon you will see, the best of you and me
In the smile that is shining
On the face of your son
All alone in my arms I hold such beauty

I want time to stop right here
Make perfection last forever
In which i could disappear, disappear.

Yours, half of all of this is yours
And now i feel you coming near
Here, you will see the best of you and me
For life stories combining
In this life we’ve begun

I have been living with such wonder
That my soul could burst apart,
Knowing soon well be together
And its too much for one heart.

Moments like this when sleep is million miles away, while my spirit seems to be in pain, struggling in the silence of the evening.

Taking advantage of the long weekend in the Philippines by squeezing some time with these funny two, Ryan and Jha who are as weirdo as me. 🙂

In my silence, (Okay, I don’t think I was really silent the whole time) my heart was laughing out loud because of these two weirdoes beside me. – At Kuppa Roastery Cafe’, The Fort, BGC, Philippines

Love Can Move Mountains

Me 2_a

They say love can move mountains. My kind of love is something that can move the universe. ❤

With a little faith
Just a little trust
If you believe in love
Love can move mountains
Believe in your heart
And feel, feel it in your soul
And love baby

Love can move mountains…

Happy Valentines Day my WordPress friends around the world!

Now This Is Why I Love Poetry

(Now this is poetry on a different level.)

Hello, how are you
It’s so typical of me to talk about myself
I’m sorry
Roll one up and let’s get high
I am trying to get fried
I bought some weed, and you can smoke
You trying to get high
I’m trying to toke
Hit this weed once, dont’ you choke-oke-oke-oke
I got a grinder, I got a bowl
I got some weed so let’s make a song
I got some munchies
We all get along
I smoke weed ain’t nothin wrong
My money good and my money long
My b*tch bad and my kush strong
I be right, I don’t be wrong
I smoke weed all day long
Wake up to it, do to sleep with that PACK

Random Thoughts 14

7_aTell me about yourself
Tell me what make your eyes light up
What makes that beautiful smile grace your face
Tell me things you love doing as a child
and the things that seem to make time faster
Your dreams, goals, ambitions
they will never seem silly to me.

Tell me what keeps you awake at 3 in the morning
when everything is still and peaceful
except for that heart of yours
Tell me about the experiences that changed you
for better or for worse
Tell me about your fears and inhibitions
I promise we’ll work on them together.

Tell me your beliefs
your thoughts on the world
everything and anything in between
I may or may not agree
but tell me
for I will be grateful
for a different lens to look through
and the expansion of my knowledge.

I swear I’ll never get bored
and I’ll tell you what makes my heart sing
and even ache
So please skip the formalities
and tell me what matters to you
And maybe one day
you’ll tell others
how much I mean to you.

Random Thoughts 12

Some days I wake up
And think of all the men
Before me and the fools
They were to ever let you
Slip through their fingers
They were such damn fools
You know?
They were the type of people
To watch the rain through their windows
And say, “Don’t you just love the rain?”
I, on the other hand was the only one
To watch it pour outside
Take my shoes off
And anxiously and bravely
Go dance madly in you.
