Have you ever had that feeling that things get too crazy, everywhere around seem a little too noisy, so much that you can hardly hear yourself think?

It has been wonderful to be able to get some quiet time even just for a week and be able to get a break from work.  Ah, eight days you are almost over!

One of the important things that I have realized these past days is that we actually already know but just needs to be reminded that: Everyone needs some time to let go of clutter in their life.

For crying out loud, life’s already been stressful so whether it be material or emotional clutter, we have to let it go.  Work, errands, duties, bills, traffic, issues among friends, relationship issues, family problems etc.

 Let go of envy.

You’ll end up disappointed if you grow up thinking everyone has the same heart as you do.  Thank God, my parents raised me secured of myself that I am contented with what I have.  At a very young age, I was thought that it’s not bad to dream as long as you know how to work hard to achieve it.  I remember my father used to say, Envy is such a bad thing, it will kill you in the end.  Instead, throw kindness around like confetti. 🙂

Let go of grudge.

Listen, smile, agree and then do whatever the f*ck you were gonna do anyway.- Robert Downey Jr.

Why make things complicated?  A lot of people will always try to outsmart you anyway – so let them, and do your own crap.  Holding grudge is like letting someone live “rent-free” in your head like a dead albatross hanging on your neck dragging you down.

Easier than done.  Right!  My GRUDGES are on sale!  Everything must go!  Always try to forgive your enemies, nothing annoys them so much.  In the end, believe that you will always shine. 🙂

Let go of closed-mindedness.

They say, “You can never teach an old dog new trick.”

1. You wouldn’t wanna be called an old dog.  Right?

2. It’s always fun to learn new things.

3. Committing mistakes is one of life’s most beautiful experiences.

4. Life is never ending process of learning.  It’s a series of surprises.  You’ve got to learn from it.  It makes you a better person.

5. Never let anyone put you inside a box.  You’re not a pair of shoes!

The past six days have been utterly amazing!  Slowing down makes on see everything in a different perspective – it changes everything.  Tell me. what draws your passions?  What pushes you to do something that is remotely artistic?

Waking up on a cold December morning, having those short walks, not thinking about work, pit-stop at my favorite coffee shop, listening to jazz, while reading a book, ponder about things that have been, and things that are yet to be, counting my blessings, learning from past mistakes, celebrating life – and letting go of ALL the excess baggage, finding every reason to be happy each moment, the art of letting go, and breaking free!
